Technical Writing:

  • Wrote, edited, and proofed hardcopy and online documents for consistency. Examples included reference documents for hardware and software products, code, user interface tests, white papers, Application Program Interface (API) and Command Line Interface (CLI) documentation, and online help systems.

  • Ensured all deliverables were technically and mechanically accurate.

  • Collaborated with department team members, engineering, marketing, services, legal, regulatory, and others to develop content for standard documentation sets, software, and special initiatives in line with the development cycle.

  • Managed internal website documentation and UX design.

  • Created and managed document schedules, content management, and information architecture.

  • Maintained content, tools, application access, account administration, and workflow administration.

  • Trained outside business groups as needed on tools, applications, reporting, and content workflow needs.

  • Defined, ratified, documented, and monitored Dell's documentation management processes and procedures to comply with ISO and internal quality standards.

  • Shaped and communicated key messages that effectively conveyed the initiatives, strategy, and value of the portfolio.

  • Demonstrated comprehension, research, and editing skills—extensively read through several high-level documents.

Marketing:

  • Created and managed all content experience following brand and communication standards.

    • Examples: business outcomes, technical outcomes, and special initiatives documents for Digital Entitlement Licensing and Provisioning (DELP).

  • Introduced onboarding videos and PDFs.

  • Developed DELP’s first quarterly and yearly review and projections. (view here)

  • Wrote blog posts, newsletters, and impactful executive presentations for product lines.

  • Created fun email fliers and videos about team members around the world.

  • Defines processes for content modification, content globalization, content sensitivity, and content accessibility.

  • Ensures all are content and presentation accurate.

  • Collaborated across the DELP Experience team members, business, other stakeholders, and worked cross-functionally to develop content on an ongoing basis.
